The 100wc

Last night there was a strange shiny piece of glass that I found on my front lawn. That night there was a terrible cracking thunder storm. The next morning I looked out my shiny white window, and then I saw a bright light. The piece of glass was in red and orange flames. I told my mum she hurried outside to put out the fire. I saw the glass was destroyed anyway it was only glass. That day I found a diamond in the ground where the glass was. I treated it really well and was famous for owning 1,000,000 dollars.

Storm City

Last Tuesday the 10th of September Canterbury was simply caned by a brutal storm. From 8pm till early the next morning extreme winds howled,lightning struck and thunder rolled in all over the province. Wednesday morning sleepy residents awoke to find trees strewn and snapped like twigs,power lines down,crushed cars and caravans tipped over. A local resident Jacob said" it was horrid". Burnham camp was affected with roads closed, power lines on houses and trees. Locals are still cleaning up.

Cultural Festival Performance Self Assessment

BURNHAM SCHOOL

The cultural festival

Yesterday night we went to the cultural festival to do kapa haka. Burnham school was first on stage. First we did toia mai, then the boys came through and did the toia mai haka, then the senior boys did their haka, then did ma te kahu kura.


After we just went and relaxed watching the ather schools. My favourite part was the haka.
